Intradistrict transfer Requests (open enrollment Windows)
Intradistrict transfer requests are available to ¶¶ÒôÒõapp currently enrolled in an SRVUSD school who are requesting a transfer from one school to another school within SRVUSD that is not their resident school site.
- Note: If you move your residence within SRVUSD boundaries and wish to have your student's current enrollment moved to your new resident school site, no intradistrict transfer is needed. Please bring your new verification of residency to your current school office staff.
The priority transfer window for each school year is:
- December 15th to February 15th for middle and high schools
- February 1st to March 6th for elementary schools.
Students must be enrolled in an SRVUSD school to request an intradistrict transfer. If your student is NOT currently enrolled in SRVUSD, you must complete the enrollment process as a requirement of consideration of the transfer.
The information below applies to all ¶¶ÒôÒõapp requesting an intradistrict transfer. Please read carefully prior to submitting transfer request(s) for the appropriate grade level(s). Online intradistrict transfer request forms are linked below.
- Intradistrict transfers are granted based on space availability in the school and/or program requested, in consideration of current and projected capacity needs at the school. Once a transfer is approved, the student's enrollment moves to the requested school site and the student's space is no longer held at the original school site.
- Prior to submitting a transfer request, please review the SRVUSD intradistrict transfer priorities and practices. You must acknowledge your understanding of these priorities and practices on the form.
- Transfer request status will not be available prior to the official email decision notification (indicated in the appropriate sections below).
