We know that not every student in SRVUSD currently experiences the conditions that lead to their success. Our commitment is to remove barriers so that all ¶¶ÒôÒõapp can flourish in our schools.

EQUITY STRATEGIC GOALS

 
  1. Create learning environments that are safe, equitable, and provide a sense of belonging for all ¶¶ÒôÒõapp and staff.
  2. Create culturally responsive and equity informed policies, procedures, and practices that lead to equitable outcomes for ¶¶ÒôÒõapp.
  3. Develop teaching and learning experiences that are responsive to and supportive of diverse cultures and identities.
  4. Recruit, hire, and retain a more diverse staff.

SRVUSD is committed to nurturing and educating the whole student. As educators, we strive to interrupt any inequitable practices in school culture and curriculum and eliminate barriers to personal and academic success. Further, we establish each place of learning as an institution that validates and celebrates each student as an individual and as a part of a larger human family.
