ABOUT COLLEGE CONNECT
The ¶¶ÒôÒõapp Unified School District (SRVUSD) has partnered with Diablo Valley College (DVC), San Ramon to create the CollegeConnect Program for qualified rising 11th and 12th graders. This exceptional educational opportunity provides SRVUSD ¶¶ÒôÒõapp with accelerated learning in the company of other college bound ¶¶ÒôÒõapp, while preserving their high school experience.

Participating CollegeConnect ¶¶ÒôÒõapp enroll in a shortened high school schedule so that they may attend college courses. During their 11th and 12th grade years, CollegeConnect ¶¶ÒôÒõapp can complete up to 30 units of transferable credit aligned with the University of California’s (UC) and California State University (CSU) Inter-segmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements.  Essentially, successful ¶¶ÒôÒõapp may complete their first year of college by the time that they graduate from high school.  Students may choose to continue at DVC and transfer to a UC or CSU as a junior, complete a career certificate in a qualifying field, or earn an associate degree. Students may also choose to transfer approximately one year of college credits to one of the campuses of the California UC or CSU system.
Please see the Letter to Parents PDF to learn more information.

The number of classes that ¶¶ÒôÒõapp require to complete the IGETC requirements vary based on college major and initial math and literacy placement.
